Yang Ming to transfer documentation work to Asia
Yang Ming is the latest ocean carrier to announce the transfer of shipping documentation work from the United States to Asia.
The Taiwan-based company said “it plans to move its document center from the U.S. to Taiwan to reduce the operation cost.”
Yang Ming has bought a new building in Taipei as office for its Taipei business department and its subsidiary, Yes Logistics Corp.
The company said it bought the building at this time because it believes realty prices in Taiwan have “hit the bottom” and are expected to rebound soon.
