CANMAR, CAST EXECUTIVES REASSIGNED
CP Ships has reassigned several executives at its Canada Maritime and
Cast subsidiaries.
Mike Jordan, chief executive of Canada Maritime, has been named
executive chairman of both CanMar and Cast. He reports to Ray Miles, chief
executive of CP Ships.
Gordon Braun, former CanMar executive director for commercial matters,
succeeds Jordan as CEO of CanMar.
Peter Seminck, who has been vice president of Europe for Cast, has been
named CEO of Cast, succeeding Terry Burrows.
Burrows is joining Americana Ships, the new 50/50 container shipping
joint venture of CP Ships and TMM. Burrows will report to Frank Halliwell,
chief executive of the joint venture.
