Airfreight carrier ANA launches new service

The Japanese airline commenced a new service between Brussels and the Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) commenced a new service between Brussels, Belgium and Tokyo Japan’s Narita International Airport Oct. 25, the Japanese airline said.
On the route, which operates with a Boeing 787-8, ANA is targeting pharma traffic using its PrioCool and PrioPharma services.
The airline’s PrioCool service, which uses special containers, is suitable for products that require strict temperature control including perishables, chemicals and semiconductors.
ANA’s PrioPharma service is designed for pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare commodities. The service uses Envirotainer’s active compressor cooling and electric heating containers to provide a set temperature between 0 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit to 77 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout the transportation process.
The first flight, which was completely booked, consisted of pharma shipments, general cargo and Belgian chocolate.
As ANA’s general sales agent for cargo, FlyUs became responsible for sales and operations at the new online station. FlyUs expects to put about seven pallets of freight on each flight.
