MAERSK TANKERS TO MANAGE BERGESEN, SOLVANG SHIPS
Maersk Tankers, a division of Denmark’s A.P. M'ller
group, will manage semirefrigerated/ethylene vessels of the Norwegian shipping companies
Bergesen d.y. and Skibsaksjeselskapet Solvang ASA.
The ships were previously operated within the "Igloo" and the
"Handygas" pool.
Maersk said that the fleet will be operated together with its existing
fleet of semiref gas carriers and traded globally within transportation of various
petrochemical gasses and liquid petroleum gas.
The participation of the vessels of Solvang ASA is subject to final
board approval of Solvang ASA and related partners.
