FAMOUS PACIFIC SHIPPING ADDS SRI LANKA AIR FREIGHT SERVICE
Famous Pacific Shipping group has expanded its services in Sri Lanka to include a new air freight division.
The division was established by Famous Pacific Shipping Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., an arm of the Asian-based non-vessel-operating common carrier and freight service provider.
The air freight operation will collect and deliver from any part of Sri Lanka, and can offer rates to any destination through airlines Emirates, Singapore Airlines or Sri Lankan Airlines, or by all-freighter services. The division will also provide customs clearance, documentation and warehousing at dedicated and multi-user warehouse space at Colombo International Airport.
'Air freight plays an important part in Sri Lanka's foreign trade and we are keen to gain a share of this market,' said Gihan Nanayakkara, managing director or FPS Lanka.
