MISC EXTENDS REGIONAL SERVICE TO INDIA
Kuala Lumpur-based Malaysia International Shipping Corp. has extended one of its regional service to include calls at the Indian ports of Tuticorin and Mumbai/Nhava Sheva.
The weekly “Indo-India Express Service” made its first call at Tuticorin on Feb 17. The first sailing into Mumbai/Nhava Sheva was scheduled for Feb. 20.
The service employs three vessels with approximately 700-TEU capacity each.
The port rotation is Singapore, Jakarta, Port Kelang, Tuticorin, Mumbai/Nhava Sheva, Tuticorin, Port Kelang, Singapore and Jakarta.
