COSCO WILL JOIN TSA
China Ocean Shipping Co. will join the Transpacific Stabilization
Agreement on March 11.
The Chinese carrier’s membership means that all the major
transpacific carriers will belong to the eastbound discussion agreement with the exception
of Zim Israel Navigation Co.
Including COSCO, the 14 members of TSA will be APL, COSCO, Evergreen,
Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai, "K" Line, Maersk Line, Mitsui O.S.K.
Lines, NYK, OOCL, P&O Nedlloyd, Sea-Land Service and Yangming.
COSCO had already joined the Westbound Transpacific Stabilization
Agreement last September.
