Product tanker pool formed

The partners of the Clean Products Tanker Alliance include MOL, Asahi Tanker Co., Ultranav International and OSG International.

Four vessel operators have agreed to partner on a new product tanker pool.
The partners of the Clean Products Tanker Alliance include MOL, Asahi Tanker Co., Ultranav International and OSG International. The pool will include about 60 medium-range product tankers in the range of 45,000-55,000 deadweight tons.
Santiago, Chile-based Ultranav will operate its vessels mainly for the Americas trade from its Miami office, and MOL will operate other vessels for the worldwide trade.
