MSC ADDS SHIPS, EXTENDS TRANSATLANTIC SERVICE TO MEDITERRANEAN
Mediterranean Shipping Co. has added two ships and extended to the Mediterranean region its weekly “North Atlantic” service.
Calls at Valencia, La Spezia and Naples are being included, while Bremerhaven is being dropped from the rotation. Two ships of around 3,200 TEUs are being added, increasing the number to six in total.
The first call to the Mediterranean will be made when the vessel “MSC Pegasus” sails from Valencia on Nov. 28.
The revised port rotation of the revised “North Atlantic” is Baltimore, Norfolk, New York, Boston, Antwerp, Valencia, La Spezia, Naples, Le Havre, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Boston, New York, Baltimore and Norfolk
Recently both CMA CGM and Hapag-Lloyd have started to take space from MSC on this service.
