TROY CONTAINER LINE ADDS FASTER LCL SERVICE TO FRANCE
Troy Container Line, the neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier, has added a faster less-than-containerload ocean freight service to France, via Le Havre.
“It will reduce total transit time to destinations in France by days, compared to our previous service via Antwerp,” said Patricia Fitzgerald, senior vice president of Red Bank, N.J.-based Troy Container Line. “After we recently began our direct service into Germany, exporters expressed interest in additional LCL service to Europe and this is our answer.”
The new fixed-day service offers an eight-day ocean transit time. In Le Havre, freight will be deconsolidated by Confreight on the day of arrival and will be immediately available for pickup.
Door-to-door service is available from the shipper's dock with on-carriage from Le Havre to Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseilles and throughout France.
