DHL OPENS LOGISTICS CENTER IN ARIZONA
DHL Worldwide Express, a provider of air express service, said Monday it has opened its Americas’ Logistics Customer Service Center in Tempe, Ariz.
The new center was “part of DHL’s strategy to offer its customers fully integrated solutions,” said Charles Menkhorst, DHL’s vice president for global logistics.
Operating in real-time, with online visibility into a customer’s supply chain, the new facility serves as a control tower, executing order handling, part scheduling, and retrieving defective or unused parts.
DHL Worldwide Express has similar control centers in Brussels and Singapore.
