CARRIERS ADD TUTICORIN TO U.S./INDIAN SUBCONTINENT SERVICE
CMA CGM, Contship Containerlines, Shipping Corporation of India and Safmarine Container Lines are adding the Indian port of Tuticorin to their joint weekly India America Express service.
The first call at Tuticorin will be made by “Indamex New Delhi” on Oct. 17.
The “Indamex” service uses eight ships averaging 1,557 TEUs and has a revised rotation of New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Port Said, Colombo, Tuticorin, Nhava Sheva, New York, Norfolk and Charleston.
Details of the revised transit times between the ports on the “Indamex” service are now posted on the global liner shipping database ComPairData at http://www.compairdata.com .
