CROWLEY ADDS SECOND U.S. NORTHEAST/PUERTO RICO SERVICE
Crowley American Transport will add a second weekly
sailing between the U.S. Northeast and San Juan, Puerto Rico, from Sept. 14.
The carrier said that cargo volumes will grow as retailers stock
shelves for the upcoming holidays.
Following the change, vessels will sail Tuesdays and Thursdays from
Pennsauken, N.J., to San Juan and Tuesdays and Thursdays from San Juan to Pennsauken.
With the additional weekly sailing, cargo carrying capacity will be
increased by 64 percent in the service between Pennsauken and San Juan.
