Port of Longview names Krehbiel CEO

Norm Krehbiel, who has been named the Port of Longview’s new chief executive officer, originally joined the port in 1993 as director of facilities and engineers, and was later named deputy executive director and chief operating officer in 2008.

Norm Krehbiel has been named the Port of Longview’s new chief executive officer.
He has served as interim CEO at the Washington state port since January and took over this role when former CEO Geir Kalhagen was released by the port authority’s board of commissioners at the start of this year.
“While serving as interim CEO, it was apparent that [Krehbiel] was the clear choice to lead the Port of Longview into the future,” said Port Commission President Bob Bagaason in a statement.
Krehbiel joined the port in 1993 as director of facilities and engineers and was later named deputy executive director and chief operating officer in 2008.
