Cargolux starts weekly Luxembourg/Indianapolis service
Cargolux started Friday a weekly service between Luxembourg and Indianapolis, designed to largely serve the pharmaceutical industry.
Operated by Boeing 747-400 freighters, the new service departs Luxembourg every Friday at 1.30 p.m., arriving in Indianapolis on the same day at 5.05 p.m. local time. Departure from Indianapolis is at 6:35 p.m., arriving back in Luxembourg, via Los Angeles, on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. local time.
“The new Cargolux gateway Indianapolis proves very beneficial for our overall distribution network, in line with our expansion plan, and will meet the highly sophisticated requirements of our clients, with main support from the pharma industry,” said Ulrich Ogiermann, Cargolux’s president and chief executive officer.
