AGL Resources completes sale of Tropical Shipping to Saltchuk

Saltchuk, owner of Sea Star Line, closes on purchase of Caribbean carrier Tropical.

The Atlanta-based natural gas utility said Tuesday it completed the sale of Tropical Shipping and its Seven Seas Insurance businesses to a subsidiary of Seattle-based Saltchuk Resources. The company acquired Tropical from NICOR in 2011.
