Kane Is Able expands to Detroit market

Third-party logistics services provider Kane Is Able will add a distribution center in the Detroit area this month.
The company will move into a 60,000-square-foot facility in Brownstown, Mich., located 21 miles south of downtown Detroit. The operation will provide cross dock, distribution, and transportation services, and have about 60 employees.
This opening follows Kane’s recent expansion in the Southern California and Atlanta markets. The company’s national network now totals 6.7 million square feet of distribution space in 21 facilities.
Kane also operates an asset-based transportation fleet with retail consolidation and overnight delivery services in the Northeast states, as well as nationwide deliveries throughout the lower 48 states.
