Menlo partners with Prologis on new logistics center

The Con-way Inc. subsidiary partnered with real estate developer Prologis to establish a new 70,000-square-meter logistics facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Menlo Logistics has reached an agreement with real estate developer Prologis to establish a new logistics facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, according to a statement from the company.
Initial site preparations commenced in late July and construction is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2016.
The 70,000-square-meter logistics facility will be adjacent to the A2/N2 Eindhoven ring road, which offers direct access to Belgium, Germany and Amsterdam.
The facility will be able to offer a variety of value-added services, including picking and packing operations, product configuration, customized labeling and return management services.
“The Benelux region and Europe as a whole have always been strong markets for Menlo and represents some of our most promising growth areas, due largely to our presence in the healthcare sector, where we have served medical device manufacturers for many years,” Menlo Logistics President Robert L. Bianco Jr. said. “Our long-term lease for this facility with our real estate development partner, Prologis, further reinforces our commitment to the European market, not only for healthcare logistics, but across a wide spectrum of industries.”
Operating on five continents, Menlo Logistics has a strong European footprint that currently includes a network of 16 facilities throughout Europe staffed by 800 employees.
