DHL Danzas adds direct India/Europe ocean service
DHL Danzas Lemuir, a joint venture between DHL Danzas Air & Ocean and India’s Lemuir group, is starting direct less-than-container load (LCL) services from Mumbai to Germany, Belgium and the U.K.
The direct services can shorten transit time by up to six days, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean said. The ocean freight services represent the first time DHL Danzas Lemuir has operated direct weekly sailings out of India to Europe.
The joint venture may increase their frequency to twice per week in the future.
