CHINA SHIPPING GROUP POSTPONES TRANSPACIFIC LAUNCH
The launch of China Shipping Group’s new transpacific
container service has been postponed until October at the earliest.
The Shanghai-based carrier had planned to enter the Pacific trade with
a weekly service this month, though no exact date had been announced.
In the meantime, China Shipping Group has set up a joint venture agency
company in the U.S. with Norton Lilly. China Shipping (North America) Agency Inc. is based
in Secaucus, N.J.
