DHL Exel Supply Chain wins 5-year Canon (UK) contract
DHL Exel Supply Chain has been awarded a '75 million ($139 million) five-year contract to manage the logistics operations of home and office imaging and information technology solutions providers Canon (UK) Ltd.
Under terms of the contract, DHL Exel Supply Chain will manage Canon’s operations within the United Kingdom including warehouse management, technical services and specialist distribution from a 240,000-square-foot facility in Bardon, Leicestershire.
Over the next year, DHL Exel Supply Chain said it will work with Canon to develop a technical center on site as it is planning to expand the operation into a multi-user, integrated service center.
