The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 16 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Cross Ocean Logistics, Bayville, N.J. (Anita D’Souza, president); and Intermodal Shipping, Arverne, N.Y. (Leonid Sakovski, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from LogicPaq, Miami (Rene Y. Vargas, member); Terra Worldwide Logistics, Miami Lakes, Fla. (Otto Valdes, member); and Windward Freight Solutions, Miami (Carlos A. Rice, member).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Cardone International Associates, Middleburg, Fla. (Budd Cardone, member); FreightFwdg1, Lynbrook, N.Y. (Nicola Savella, member); and Rose Containerline, New York (Neal M. Rosenberg, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Blue Cargo Group, Miami (Tyler Forrest, manager); Corbett International, Rosedale, N.Y. (Michael Baratta, president); Dolphin Express, Hillside, N.J. (Eli B. Ami, vice president); H.T.L. Logistics India Private Ltd., Bangalore, India (Ahamed R. Farook, chairman); Midrex Global Logistics, Charlotte, N.C. (Donald Brooks, secretary); New Haven International, Kenner, La. (Jorge E. Jerez, president); WE International, Dublin, Calif. (Fangbin Wu, president); and YES Logistics Corp., Pasadena, Calif. (Jen-Yen “Alex” Hsieh, vice president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
