MINOLTA PICKS VASTERA SOFTWARE FOR GLOBAL SHIPMENTS
Minolta Corp., a provider of imaging products, has licensed software from Vastera Inc., to manage shipments from the United States to customers globally.
Vastera, based in Dulles, Va., said Tuesday that Minolta will use Vastera’s TradeSphere Explorer solution to apply for export licenses, prepare shipping documents, and perform country-specific regulatory compliance checks.
Minolta makes cameras, binoculars, copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, light meters, thermometers, and digital imaging equipment.
Vastera’s clients include Ford, Visteon, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and Nissho Iwai.
