AMERICANA SHIPS DROPS TECOMAR NAME

   Americana Ships, the shipping joint venture of CP Ships and
Transportacion Maritima Mexicana, has decided to stop using the trade name
Tecomar.
   The former operations of Tecomar, a Mexican shipping company originally
acquired by TMM, will now operate under TMM.
   In March, Americana Ships brought all the former services of Ivaran
under the name of Lykes.
   Other services operating under Americana are TMG, CTE and Contship.
