APL’s container traffic, revenue down 2%
Neptune Orient Lines today reported its container-shipping unit APL transported 211,200 40-foot equivalent units during the six-week period ended Feb. 10, down 2 percent compared to 215,300 FEUs in the same period last year.
APL’s average revenue per FEU in the same period also declined 2 percent to $2,745 from $2,802.
