CNS LAUNCHES TECHNOLOGY SURVEY
Cargo Network Services, the U.S. subsidiary of the International Air
Transport Association that manages an air freight billing system for U.S.
forwarders and airlines, has launched a survey of its members to determine
how information technology affects the air cargo industry.
The CNS-sponsored study will be carried out by the University of
California-Irvine’s Center for Research on Information Technology.
CNS said that the survey seeks responses from 1,400 cargo agents and
forwarders and 90 airlines. Participation is confidential.
