Landstar CEO adds chairman title
Landstar System said President and Chief Executive Officer Henry H. Gerkens has been named to the additional post of board chairman, effective Jan. 4.
Jeffrey C. Crowe, who currently serves as chairman, will remain on the company's board and has been designated as chairman emeritus.
Jacksonville, Fla.-based Landstar is a non-asset based provider of transportation, logistics and warehouse services.
