WTO publishes dispute settlement guide
The secretariat of the World Trade Organization has co-published a “Handbook on the WTO Dispute Settlement System” with Cambridge University Press.
The WTO said the guide has been prepared to explain the practices that have arisen in the operation of the WTO dispute settlement system since its entry into force on Jan. 1, 1995.
“The primary purpose of this training guide is to explain the WTO dispute settlement system to an interested person with little or no knowledge of how this system functions,” said Bruce Wilson, legal affairs director of the WTO.
Information on the book can be found on the WTO’s Web site at http://www.wto.org/english/news_e/news_e.htm#handbook .
