MarAd extends VISA program one year
The U.S. Maritime Administration said it will extend the current Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) until Oct. 1, 2007.
VISA's purpose is to provide the Defense Department with access to intermodal shipping services, including ships, intermodal equipment and related management services.
