USTR STUDIES FOREIGN DISCRIMINATION AGAINST U.S. EXPORTS

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is preparing a study reviewing foreign countries engaging in discriminatory practices that hurt U.S. exports.

The study, which is part of Executive Order 13116 of March 31, 1999, requires the USTR to complete the report by April 30. Congressional committees will then receive the report for their review.

Industry and government officials interested in participating in the study must submit their comments to the USTR by no later than Feb. 25. For more information, contact the USTR at 202-395-3432.
