FREIGHTQUOTE.COM PARTNERS WITH DIRECTSOURCE GLOBAL PURCHASING
Freightquote.com, the Kansas City, Kan.-based provider of online business-to-business freight and logistics services, has entered into an alliance to provide DirectSource Global Purchasing Inc. with logistics and fulfillment services.
Through Freightquote, users of DirectSource's Web site (http://www.directsource.com) will be able to get real-time quotes from freight carriers, scheduling and tracking, invoicing and reporting.
Bellevue, Wash.-based DirectSource, developed by former Microsoft, Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart employees, allows customers to import products direct from Asian suppliers.
