U.S. SEAWAY AUTHORITY RAISES TOLL
The U.S. Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corp. has proposed to raise the toll per lock charge from $16.24 to $16.44 for the 2003 shipping season.
“This increase is due to higher operating costs at the locks,” the seaway authority said. It applies to all commodities.
