POLAR TANKERS SEEKS REGISTRY TRANSFER FOR SHIP
Polar Tankers Inc. has asked the U.S. Maritime Administration to approve the transfer of the 262,376-deadweight-ton tanker Polar Independence to the Marshall Islands registry.
The vessel was built in 1977 in Sparrows Point, Md.
