ATLAS AIR TAPS LANE TO LEAD MARKETING
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. named Ron Lane chief marketing officer for the company's operating subsidiaries Atlas Air Cargo and Polar Air Cargo.
Lane takes over as senior vice president of marketing and commercial strategy. He replaces Stanley Wraight, who left Atlas in March as part of a management shakeup at the financially troubled airline.
Lane has been Polar Air's chief marketing officer since 2000 and previously worked for 27 years at Evergreen International Airlines, most recently serving as vice chairman.
