INGERSOLL-RAND, EMERY WORLDWIDE SIGN CONTRACT
Emery Worldwide has contracted with Ingersoll-Rand to provide logistics services in Europe.
Under the contract, Emery picks up shipments in the United States, and delivers, warehouse, and distribute them throughout Europe.
More specifically, Emery will be providing a dedicated staff, door-to-door air-freight pickup and delivery services, warehousing including pick-and-pack operations, and finally delivery to European customers.
Emery, the Redwood City, Calif.-based subsidiary of CNF Inc., was awarded the contract after a three-month trial with Ingersoll-Rand.
