P&O NEDLLOYD TO CHARTER THREE 5,500-TEU VESSELS

   P&O Nedlloyd Container Line will take three ships of
5,500-TEU capacity on long-term charter from Nordcapital, the German charter owner.
    The vessels are currently under construction.
    The Anglo-Dutch carrier is expected to start operating the vessels in
its fleet next year.
    P&O Nedlloyd recently ordered another four giant containerships of
6,788-TEU capacity to complement four 6,690-TEU vessels already in its fleet.
