Bush nominates Veroneau for USTR deputy post

   President Bush has nominated John Veroneau to serve as the next deputy U.S. trade representative.

   Veroneau has served as the USTR’s general counsel and assistant USTR for congressional affairs.

   “I hope the Senate will act swiftly on his nomination,” said U.S. Trade Representative Susan Schwab in a statement.
