Wallenius Wilhelmsen starts South Africa/Europe service
Scandinavian car carrier Wallenius Wilhelmsen has started a shuttle service between South Africa and Europe.
The new service has a sailing frequency of every 45 days and has a port rotation of Durban, Vigo, Zeebrugge, Algiers and back to Durban. The carrier said the service will make occasional calls at Casablanca on the southbound route.
Wallenius Wilhelmsen said the majority of the northbound cargo will initially be Toyota IMVs, a small pickup truck.
