The two subsidiaries of French ocean carrier CMA CGM will begin offering a weekly service between China and Southeast Asia in February.
Ocean carriers CNC Line and APL, both subsidiaries of French ocean carrier CMA CGM, will commence a new Asia container loop starting mid-February.
The port rotation for the loop, dubbed “CSE,” will be Qingdao, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Manila (North) and back to Qingdao.
The weekly loop will provide additional frequency from China to Bangkok, a new direct connection from Ho Chi Minh to Manila, and fast, direct service between Central China and Southeast Asia, CNC Line said.
According to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting, APL offers 11 loops that strictly serve the intra-Asia trade, while CNC Line, operating as CMA CGM’s intra-Asia carrier, offers 40 intra-Asia services.
