U.S. international air cargo up 1.5% in July

U.S. international air cargo up 1.5% in July

   International air freight and express shipments carried by U.S. airlines increased 1.5 percent to 1.08 billion revenue ton-miles in July, from 1.06 billion revenue ton-miles in July 2004, according to the latest statistics of the U.S. Air Transport Association (ATA).

   For the year-to-date, ATA members’ international air freight and express shipments are up 3.5 percent to 7.37 billion revenue ton-miles.

   ATA Airlines are Aloha, Alaska, America West, American, ATA, Continental (including Micronesia), Delta, FedEx, Hawaiian, JetBlue, Midwest, Northwest. Southwest, United, UPS and US Airways.
