MEDITERRANEAN/CANADA CARRIERS SEEK RATE INCREASES
Carriers of the Med Can conference are planning to increase westbound rates from the Mediterranean to Canada, effective March 1.
The conference announced a “general rate increase” on all rates from Italy, Spain and France of $75 per 20-foot container and $125 per 40-foot box.
The Med Can conference carriers are Canada Maritime, Cast, Senator Lines and Zim Israel Navigation.
