INTERMARINE REVISES AMERICAS FUEL SURCHARGES
Intermarine, the managing agent for Industrial Maritime Carriers (USA), will revise its bunker surcharges on its services between the United States and South America and the Caribbean.
Effective April 10, the new rates will be $70 per 20-foot container, $115 per 40 footer, and $4.50 per freight-ton of breakbulk cargo, minimum $4.50.
As previously announced, Intermarine will also raise bunker surcharges on its transpacific and transatlantic services on April 3.
The surcharges will be set at $60 per 20-foot container, $100 per 40-footer and $10 per freight-ton of breakbulk cargo. They will apply to both inbound and outbound cargoes.
Intermarine, based in New Orleans, provides ocean transport and inland transport for breakbulk, specialized project and heavy-lift cargoes.
