CN, CLARKE INC. LAUNCH 3RD-PARTY LOGISTICS JOINT VENTURE
Canadian National Railway and Clarke, Inc. have begun a third-party
logistics joint venture spanning freight markets in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The companies said the new operation will offer shippers "seamless rail
and over-the-road freight transportation and logistics throughout North America."
The joint venture gives Clarke, for the first time, a major presence in
domestic U.S. freight markets and strengthens its existing intermodal and highway
brokerage business between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, CN said in a statement announcing
the partnership.
