Hamburg Sud reduces fuel charge, switches Oakland terminal
Hamburg Sud is reducing its emergency fuel adjustment factor charges in the North America/Australia/New Zealand trade. Effective March 15, the fuel charge will be $178 per 20-foot unit, from the current $206 per TEU.
At the same time, the carrier said it is switching in March its Oakland terminal on the U.S. West Coast/Australia/New Zealand “PNW 2” service to SSA Marine’s B58 terminal from the current APL terminal.
