Emirates leases Atlas jumbo jet
Atlas Air has begun operating a third 747-400F freighter for Emirates SkyCargo under a new five-year contract for dedicated carriage, the Purchase, N.Y.-based aircraft lessor said.
Atlas Air, operating under bankruptcy protection, also provides full-service air transportation to the fast-growing Dubai-based carrier with two 747-200 freighters.
