New facility being built at Port Tampa Bay

Hatch Mott MacDonald said it will lead the design for the Eastport Development of Port Tampa Bay in Florida.
The engineering company said the facility will initially handle
aggregates for concrete and steel products, but can also receive
roll-on/roll-off vessels and other products that will require large lay
down or storage area.
The Eastport Development is a design-build project for a new 400-foot
wharf, complete with breasting dolphins, high-strength mooring points, a
hopper platform, and a 20-acre to 25-acre, high-capacity,
concrete-paved storage yard. High-mast lighting, reconfigured roadways,
and fire and potable water services are also included in the project
scope.
HMM said it is the lead designer for a GLF Construction Corp. design-build team.
