AOL TIME WARNER PICKS DESCARTES
AOL Time Warner has contracted with the Descartes Systems Group, Inc., to link a number of trading partners and intersecting supply chains.
AOL Time Warner will use the Descartes Global Logistics Services Network to manage communications with AOL’s transportation suppliers.
Descartes also announced on Tuesday that it had 56 new sign-ups for the same network in the third quarter of 2002. The provider’s latest clients, besides AOL, include B&G Delivery, Cargo-Master, R.E. West Transportation, and The UniLink Group.
