Standard & Poor’s raises “K” Line’s long-term rating to ‘BB+’
Standard & Poor’s, the New York-based investment rating service, has upgraded the credit rating of its long-term corporate credit and senior unsecured bond ratings on Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd., noting improvement in the Japanese shipping company’s financial profile as a result of reduced debt and increased capital.
“K” Lines long-term corporate credit has improved from BBB- to BB+, while the senior unsecured bond ratings also went from BBB- to BB+.
