Atlas Canada acquires Connect Logistics

Atlas Canada, a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, has acquired freight brokerage Connect Logistics of Mississauga, Ontario, for an undisclosed sum.

   Atlas Canada, a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, has acquired freight brokerage Connect Logistics for an undisclosed sum. 
   Atlas Canada said the purchase of Connect Logistics will double its logistics business in Canada.
   Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Connect Logistics will continue operating under its current name and management led by founder Doug Van Fraassen. The company offers its more than 200 customers specialized product transportation as well as warehousing and distribution services. In recent years, the company has experienced significant growth due to expansion, Atlas Canada said.
