First ship calls at CSX World Terminals’ Caucedo facility
CMA CGM’s 'Colombie Voyage,' a 2,200-TEU vessel, has been the first ship to call at CSX World Terminals Caucedo in the Dominican Republic.
CSX World Terminals, based in Charlotte, N.C., said, “is in the final stages of completing terminal service agreements” with other carriers for the Caucedo terminal.
“We are confident that the global carriers who call in the Dominican Republic will elect to use the modern container facilities offered at Puerto Caucedo … along with those interested in using Caucedo for Caribbean transshipment activity,” said Larry Yunt, vice president, sales, for CSX World Terminals.
